I want to tell you about someone's experience, what is it?

I had an amusing experience last year. After I had left a small village in the South of France, I drove my car on to the next town. On the way, I never thought when there was a young man waved to me, and at the time, I stopped my car and looked in a hurry and he asked me for a lift. I didn't think anything longer and I agreed to give him a lift. 

As soon as he got into the car, in the car I tried to have a live conversation by saying "Bonjour" in French it was good morning in English, and he replied in the same language. Besides some short words of French, I didn't know much about French language at all. Neither of us spoke during the journey in my car. 

After I had nearly reached the town, suddenly the young man said very slowly, "Do you speak English?" Then I replied him soon, "Yes, I speak English because I am English."

Then he laughed loudly. As I soon learnt, he was English himself.
