FAMILY MEMBERS AND ROOMS OF A FAMILY

Are you happy? Are you okay? Are you fine? I always hope so. 

Today is very special day because we can learn more about family. What is family?

In this case, we learn about:

FAMILY MEMBERS:

NUCLEAR FAMILY which consists of parents and children

EXTENDED FAMILY which consists of maybe grandparents, parents, children, uncle and aunt.

By this matter, we will know them one by one:
1. FATHER

a male parent, protector, and provider who guides, nurtures, and supports the physical, emotional, and moral development of his household. (Your male parent)

2. MOTHER

a female parent or caregiver who anchors the family through continuous care, emotional support, and household guidance. (Your female parent)

3. SON

a male child or person in relation to his parents, whether through biological birth, adoption, or a legal/household relationship. (A male child of your parent)

4. DAUGHTER

a female child, offspring, or female descendant in relation to her parents. (A female child of your parent)

5. BROTHER

a boy or man who shares one or both parents with another person (a male sibling), or someone related through step, half, or foster relations. (Your male sibling)

6. SISTER

a female sibling who shares one or both parents. (Your female sibling)

7. GRANDFATHER

the father of a person's mother or father. 

8. GRANDMOTHER

the mother of a person's father or mother, or a female ancestor.

9. UNCLE

the brother of your mother or father, the husband of your aunt, or a close family friend whom you address with respect. (A brother of your father or mother)

10. AUNT

the sister of one's father or mother, or the wife of one's uncle. (A sister of your father or mother)

11. NEPHEW

the son of your brother or sister, or the son of your spouse's brother or sister. 

12. NIECE

the daughter of your brother or sister, or son of your spouse's brother or sister.

13. COUSIN

most commonly the child of your aunt or uncle, meaning you share at least one grandparent.

After you learn more about the members of a family, now you will learn about the rooms in your house, just read it as well as possible you do now.

ROOMS OF A FAMILY:

Now, we will learn about many kinds of the rooms in our family. Do you know what and how many kinds of the rooms?

We will discuss this topic one by one. As we know that every family has many rooms in his house, so what are they?

1. LIVING ROOM

It is a kind of rooms we usually use to receive a guest in our house.

2. FAMILY ROOM

It is a special room for our family which we usually use to meet together with our family at home

3. DINING ROOM

Dining room is a room in our family we can function it as eating together with family

4. KITCHEN

Kitchen is a place of our house we usually use to cook anything, like cooking rice, cooking vegetables, cooking meat, cooking instant noodles and others

5. BED ROOM

This is a very special room, no family doesn't have this room. Every family has the bed room because it is used to sleep our family, for father, mother, brother, sister and others

6. BATHROOM

Don't you have a bathroom at your house? I believe that you have it. So what is the function of this room? You know it is used to have a bath, to pee and other activities in this room.

7. GARAGE

What is this guys? It is a kind of a family room which we usually use for parking our cars or motorcycles included a bicycles if we have them all.

8. TERRACE

This is an area in front of our house, and we usually use to have a relaxed time with family, siblings, friends, parents colleague and others.

9. GARDEN

It is an extra area outside of a house room which we can use for gardening, like planting some flowers, kinds of vegetables, fruits and other activity.

10. TOILET

a plumbing fixture consisting of a ceramic bowl, seat, and a water-flushing mechanism used for the elimination and disposal of human urine and feces

11. WAREHOUSE

a designated room, garage, basement, or attic used to keep household goods, seasonal items, or bulk supplies in an organized manner (Room for keeping house sets or things).
