A KIND YOUNG MAN

A KIND YOUNG MAN

One day, there was a story. It was inspirated from the real story I have ever known.

The story was about a young and handsome man. He worked in a big export furniture company in a big city, Semarang. The person went to the company by bus, sometime went there by motorcycle. The man had two children, a boy and a girl. The firs daughter was at grade 6 of an elementary school, while the little brother was still a baby. The man was very patient; his life was not good enough. He tried to do working better and better for his family in order that their life would change.

Day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year, he passed. His first work position was as a Quality Control person, and then few years later, he was promoted to be a Quality Control Supervisor. Because of his hard working and loyalty, he got this position. Sometimes he went home late at night instead till morning.

One day, while he wanted to go to his office, in a bus, he sat beside an old woman and a little girl; she was about grade 4 student. The girl cried in the bus, suddenly the old woman said to me, “Excuse me, sir. Where do you want to go?” to my office.” He said. And then the man said to her, “Where do you want to go, mom?” She said, “I don’t know because I never understand where my son goes now. He is this little girl’s father.

Not long after that, the man decided to accompany the old woman where to go. The old woman asked the man to Johar, the traditional market in Semarang. After walking for a few minutes along the bank, the old woman yelled with a loud sound, “Hi,.my son! Hi……………….my son!

The man then turned around and look at the old woman and said, “Hi……..mom! Hi……….mom!

Then the old woman ran away towards the man and suddenly they embraced each other. The got into the stall, because the man was a chicken noodle’s seller. The man stayed there with his wife, while his daughter lived with his mother.

After the person who accompanied the old woman found them, he directly asked for leaving away from the area. He hurried up to go out from the small stall and went away. Suddenly, the old woman called him up, “Hi,…….. come here, please!”
Do you know what did the woman do?

Exciting, the woman gave an envelope of sum of money for him, but he refused it because he helped them sincerely. Once, the young man said, “Mom, you have met your son, and this little girl has found her father, so let me go and thanks for anything from you but I think this money will be very useful for you and your family.”
