Have you ever visited Java?

If you have visited Java, there are many various beautiful places you can visit. You can visit Borobudur temple, it is located in Magelang, Central Java. You will find Prambanan and Mendut temple because they are not far from Borobudur temple. Other beautiful tourism objects you can visit around are Kyai Langgeng Garden, Kaliurang waterfall, Gembiroloka zoo, Malioboro and many others. 

Okay guys, 

Have you ever known that there is a reputable senior high school in Muntilan? As we all know that there is a school in Muntilan and it's very favorite, well known all over Indonesia. 

Van Lith Senior High School was founded by the Dutch missioner in 1904, he was Fransiscus Gregorius Van Lith, SJ. He was born in Oirachot, Netherland, May 17, 1863. He came to Indonesia in 1896, After few years operation, this school was delegated to FIC brothers in 1952. Along the years, this school grows up to be qualified and reputable school in Java, and there are many students come from many cities in Indonesia, from the West to the East.

In this case I want to inform you something from this school due to the visitation from Javanese Governor, he is Mr. Ganjar Pranowo. Why did the Governor come to this school? 

At first I want to inform you first Mr. Ganjar Pranowo came to the school on November 16, 2022. At this special event, Van Lith Senior High School takes a topic "BERAGAMA DALAM NALAR PUBLIK". According to the statement above, we also say it as "A Public Visions of A Religion". It talks about how to give tolerance to other beliefs and how we give a flexibility for those who want to pray based on their religions.  The event was very special because the school also invited religious leader, The Police, and also Indonesian Army. At this moment, suddenly, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo asked two students from the school, they were "Stefanie Bella" from Ketapang, West Borneo. At first, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo asked her, "Who is Ketapang Regent?" She didn't answer the question but she asked special questions which were very touched Mr. Ganjar Pranowo and all audiences.  What were the questions?

First, Tolerance for the prayers is very important but it doesn't happen correctly. What do you think, Sir?" Then Mr. Ganjar said while smiling, "It's not good, of course". Then Bella asked more, "Does our government courage to crack down this intolerance? Mr. ganjar said again, "Of course yes" he smiled at her. To make sure his response, he face towards audiences then he said to the police and army, they said, "Yes we are also courage." 

Then, Bella asked one question more. The question was "How does the government to overcome intolerance problems, like building church which are almost difficult everywhere?" Once, Mr. Ganjar said, "I always say Yes", what else? (Stopping question)

The next turn, Ziva actually would ask something to Mr. Ganjar but Mr. Ganjar asked him some questions before. The question, "Where do you come from?, Where do you live in? What is your father and mother's profession? He comes from Surabaya, he lives in Tangerang and his parents' profession are a company staff and a house wife. 

It is Ziva's question:

"Mr. Ganjar, according to your opinion, do you think religion choice is a private responsibility or somebody else or public matter?" Directly Mr. Ganjar said, "Private matter". The event was really interesting and wonderful so that many audience felt happy because Mr. Ganjar always make a joke in his dialogue. Finally, at the end of this dialogue, both the two students got new handphones in this dialogue section. Does anybody know the girl? Bella was alumnus of Saint Albert school in Ketapang, her younger sister is still at Saint Albert School of the third grade at present.

How is everything? Is it okay? I hope so, guys.

Today I want to tell you all what Library Card is. As we know that a library card is very important for us. A library card is a member card we get from a school library for borrowing books from it. If we don't have a library card we can't borrow the books from the library, so every student of a school must have a library card to make sure a librarian let us borrow the books from a library.

Every school library has rules for students to obey, for instants period time of borrowing books one week only, if they borrow them more than one week they will get penalty. As students they can borrow the three books only at once. There are also various books which students can borrow from the library, like; lesson books, story books, comics, cartoon story and many others.

ROOMS OF A FAMILY HOUSE

Now, we will learn about many kinds of the rooms in our family. Do you know what and how many kinds of the rooms?

We will discuss this topic one by one. As we know that every family has many rooms in his house, so what are they?

1. LIVING ROOM

It is a kind of rooms we usually use to receive a guest in our house.

2. FAMILY ROOM

It is a special room for our family which we usually use to meet together with our family at home

3. DINING ROOM

Dining room is a room in our family we can function it as eating together with family

4. KITCHEN

Kitchen is a place of our house we usually use to cook anything, like cooking rice, cooking vegetables, cooking meat, cooking instant noodles and others

5. BED ROOM

This is a very special room, no family doesn't have this room. Every family has the bed room because it is used to sleep our family, for father, mother, brother, sister and others

6. BATHROOM

Don't you have a bathroom at your house? I believe that you have it. So what is the function of this room? You know it is used to have a bath, to pee and other activities in this room.

7. GARAGE

What is this guys? It is a kind of a family room which we usually use for parking our cars or motorcycles included a bicycles if we have them all.

8. TERRACE

This is an area in front of our house, and we usually use to have a relaxed time with family, siblings, friends, parents colleague and others.

9. GARDEN

It is an extra area outside of a house room which we can use for gardening, like planting some flowers, kinds of vegetables, fruits and other activity.

TRADITIONAL DANCE COMPETITION

 WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Hello, everybody! Welcome to Smart English Education Blog.

Today is very special because we still have some programs we hold this afternoon, they are sport and traditional dance competition. 

After we have no activity outside of study for about three years because of Covid-19 problem, at this time we try to hold some competitions in order to improve children talent in sports and traditional dances. In this case, I want to tell you all that this afternoon all the children who joined the sport competition felt very happy because they would fight each other as the third and fourth winner started at 3 PM and the next match will be started after. After the first match ended, it was continued the second match. Finally the football match today ended at four forty five minutes this afternoon.

You know that there were some of students organization staffs who helped the football match this afternoon. They who helped the football match today felt very happy. Do you know why? Yeach, it was because they could play football after the match together with their friends until five twenty this afternoon. 

How about traditional competition this afternoon? Off course everything was okay here, because this competition was held for about thirty five minutes only, it was because of the competition was participated by three dancer groups from different schools. They were from Seventh Government Elementary School, Fourteenth Government Elementary School and the last was from Saint Joseph Elementary School. As the Master of Ceremony was Mrs. Hany Oktavia Oshin, S. Pd. and its dancing player operator was Mr. Mardwiyantoro.

After competition, one of the three juries announced to all contest participants who would be the first winner at this competition. The three juries were Mr. Deky Murdani, S. Pd., Mrs. Deasy Maria Aphen, S. Pd., and Mrs. Maria Shanty Bella Dona, S. Pd. So, How were their scores or points? Mr. Deky Murdani announced that the third winner was gotten by the first turn participants, and the second winner was gotten by the last turn participants, while the first winner was gotten by the second turn participants from Saint Joseph Elementary School.

We know that their performances were the human resource wealth we should care and improve step by step in order they can be useful for themselves and our government one day. The first until the third winner will get trophy rewards from the committee which will be handed over on the next December 8, 2022.

 WHO IS JUDY SPARK?

Do you know who Judy Spark is?

As we all have known that Judy Spark is an artist and writer. She is a lecturer on BA (Hons) Fine Art Course at Moray. She is also the member of Association For Contemplative Mind in Higher Education. She has had teaching experience since 2006, so where did she taught at the time? Here are some of the places she has taught, Gray's School of Art; Lecturer on BA Contemporary Art Practice; Cardonald College and many others.

Today, I want to show you a special dialogue about two people, they are Irma and Edo. They are actually going to watch Judy Spark's concert the time.

Read and listen to this dialogue between Irma and Edo. They are going to a concert in town on Sunday morning, and here is their conversation:

Irma : Wow! It is very crowded, right?

Edo  : Yes, It is. I'm so thirsty. I want to buy an iced tea, do you want some?

Irma : I think I'm okay. I have my drink in my bag.

Edo  : OK, then. I'll go buy one.

Irma : Sure, I'm going to wait here.

Five minutes later, . . . 

Edo  : Irma! You will not believe it!!

Irma : What happened?

Edo  : I met Judy Spark with her crew. She is more beautiful in person than in photos.

Irma : Oh my God! Really? I'm so jealous of you. I adore her so much.

Edo  : Yes, she is so friendly and smiles a lot. I even took a picture with her.

Irma : How lucky you are. Let me see.

Edo  : Here.

Irma : Wow, . . . Look at her eyes, her smile! I wish I came with you.

Edo  : Ahaa! Gotcha! Look! The concert is almost started.

Irma : You're right. Come on, get closer to the stage!

Edo  : Let's go!
