 WHAT ARE DESCRIPTIVE AND REPORT?

As you see in the picture above, what is it?

I believe that it's a mango tree, isn't it? The answer is of course yes.

Who likes mangos? So far I like mangos guys. How about you, I hope so

The mango tree above looks beautiful and interesting, do you know why?

Yes, it is because of its mangos fruits, there are many fruits on the mango tree and its yellow, it means that the mangos fruits are ripe enough and delicious to eat, aren't they?

It's my car, what do you think about my car? Do you like it?

I think my car is very special, it's red and sporty even it's old but looks nice.

Based on the two examples above, I want to tell you that they are different between mango tree and my car? What are they? Let's see together, please!

First, 

We talk about Mango tree in general not specific and it doesn't have owner, right?

Second, we talk about My car, it's more specific, right?

Yes, because I don't talk about car generally but I just talk about my nice and sporty car only.

In this case,

I just want to inform you that if we explain you about anything generally, it is report text while we talk about something specifically it means descriptive text.

Both of them using Simple Present Tense Sentence, but Report usually uses passive voice sentence more than descriptive.

Look at this example again, whether it is report or descriptive?
