Nowadays we need a hand phone to connect our friends, family and relatives. We also use it as sending message for them. We can get it easily in the shop, because the price of the hand phone is very cheap and we can find it everywhere.  When we buy it we shall get a hand phone, a SIM card, a battery, and a charger and sometimes completed with an earphone. These are the ways to activate the hand phone:

Do you know how to activate it?

      First, open the back cover of the hand phone. Secondly, remove the battery from its slot.Insert the SIM card after being installed. Next, insert the battery inside. After that, close the battery with a back cover of the hand phone.

      Connect the lead from the charger to the bottom of  the hand phone.Sixth, connect the charger to an AC electricity outlet. Charge the battery supply with the phone may take four up to six hours. Seventh, when the battery is fully charged, the bar stop scrolling. Disconnect the charger from the AC outlet and the phone. Then, we are ready to use our phone. After that, turn on the hand phone until it appears on its screen. Set the date and time before using it.

      Finally when the program is really ready to use, we can start calling or sending message to someone.

DESCRIPTIVE TEXT AND HOW TO ASK FOR A HELP EXERCISES

A.     Read this text and then answer its questions follow!

Hi guys, I’m novia, NovA

I go to school at Saint Albert Junior High School in Ketapang, West Borneo.

Now, I’m in grade VII B. I love my school, well today I will tell you about my daily activities. 

Everyday I wake up at six o’clock except holiday or on Sunday, I wake up late. Yeah, I’m not the same as my friends who can wake up early in the morning. I think I will not get up soon if my mother doesn’t wake me up, I may get up at seven or eight, (ha......ha......ha....). I’m so lazy, right?

Okay, I’ll continue my story.

After I wake up, I usually make my bed and clean the room. Then, I take a bath soon and brush my teeth, get dressed followed by having breakfast and go to school.

           

            It takes about five hours to join the lessons from seven to one at school. At one sharp, We go home from school. At home, I take a bath and change my uniforms into casual wear, like T-shirt and shorts. Then, I go to the dinning room for lunch. After that, I play some games from my handphone for a while and go to study and do my homeworks. At four o’clock in the afternoon, I have extra lesson, it’s Math. I go home from the course at five, directly I take a bath after home and rest. At six o’clock, I have dinner with my mom, dad, sister and once I make sure that I have done all my home work. 

            At seven pm, I usually watch television or read some novels (of course for teen). After it, I hurry up to the bathroom for brushing my teeth, washing my hands and feet, pray to God and go to sleep later.

SCOUT CEREMONY ON AUGUST 14, 2015.

FLAG CEREMONY ON SCOUT DAY

Do you know what is flag ceremony?

Well students, Flag Ceremony is an activity usually school does on Monday. Sometimes we hold Flag Ceremony not always on Monday but also on the special day, like on Independent Day, Kartini’s Day, The Youth Declaration Day, Scouts’ Day and many more. 

Yesterday, on Friday, August 14th, 2015 our school held a Flag Ceremony to Celebrate The Scout Day.

All the students wore a Complete Scout Uniform. They should wear a brown T shirt and shorts or skirts. Red and White ties were a must for students, they should wear scout hats too. When students wore scout uniforms meant that they also used  pair of black shoes and its socks.  The Flag Ceremony started at seven o’clock. All the ceremony officers were taken from leadership team. They really performed as well as possible they could do. The Ceremony leader/ comander handled by Stevania Tan, and the first troop leader was Seni, second leader Ludovicus Farrel and the third troop was Edo Arsanova. It looked so unique because we held the Ceremony was different from other Flag Ceremony as usual. Did you know why was it so different of other Flag Ceremony? 

First, Text of the Basic Constitution was said by Albert Yudi P, Tri Satya was said by Vincentius Arlan Hane and Dasa Darma was said by Valencia Darma Angeli. In this case, Jessica prayed as usual without text. Second, The teacher who led The Flag Ceremony was Mr. Gergorius as the Secretary of Scout Team. On his speech, he said that as the students, they should do the best thing in order that they could form useful people one day. Not only that but he also advised students to obey the school regulation and they should be wise students. 

Okay guys, It was not complete if we didn’t tell about the “Saint Albert Choir Personals” who sang the National Anthem and other National Songs as well. The team was conducted by CCC or Christine Cindy Claudya and some of the singers like; Jo Black, Princesia Angela, Jwivania, Agnes Cherly, Benedictus Audy, Mardo Januarby and others. The team sang “Scout Hymn” and “Saint Albert Mars” beautifully.

Well students, I think that was really wonderful and we always need you to do better next time. Thanks
