Karula is a national park established in 1993. The park is located in Estonia. There are swamps as well as pine trees on sandy land within the forests of the 104 square km park. Small farms, hills, and lakes can also be found in the park. Among the resident wildlife of the park are otters, beavers, black storks, moose, golden eagles, and wolves.

Recently, people have been interested in vacationing in national parks or in parks used for conservation purposes. National parks range from natural, semi-natural, or developed land owned by a state. Most of them are open to visitors and some offer recreational and camping activities that are perfect for a family holiday. Those activities provide awareness for the public of the significance of conservation, aside from allowing the public to see the wonders of nature.

Well guys, 
I think that's all about Karula which is located in Estonia, one of the beautiful landscapes in Estonia. We can enjoy Smallest National Park Landscape, Dome Landscape, Glacial Lake, and also Green Forest. Besides, we can see and enjoy hiking, cycling, climbing favorite place, smoke sauna in Voru. 

Actually, Karula is a small city in EStonia, located in the South of Estonia. Estonia is a small country around of Europe, which has many beautiful landscape and tourism objects to visit.

Before we start our explanation today, 

First time, I just want to say: WELCOME BACK to SMART ENGLISH EDUCATION SITE.
How do you feel today? I hope you are all good now even though there's a big trouble in Ketapang, West Borneo. There's a very bad situation there, because everywhere has been polluted by unhealthy smoke due to the burning forest in almost Borneo island especially in West Borneo. According to this incident, all sections of Education there should be held through online system, all students must stay at home to avoid any obstruction or polluted by the unhealthy air during out of home.

Basically, Certainty and Uncertainty are kinds of a pair of expression, so what are they for?

CERTAINTY is an expression used to express something we say to other person about what we feel sure or certain in anyway. 
Example: 
I am sure that the burning forest smoke pollution is very difficult to disappear. 

UNCERTAINTY is an expression used to express something we say to other person about what we feel unsure or uncertain. 

Example: 

I am not sure that the burning forest smoke pollution is easy to disappear from Borneo island.

Every student of SMP Elang Nusantara is automatically part of the library member. Each member of the school library can borrow a maximum of 3 books each visit. The books that are borrowed should be returned a maximum of 2 weeks after the borrowing date. The members can extend their borrowing period up to one week. However, they must report it to the librarian. If you exceed the due date to return the book, you have to pay a fee of Rp.3.000 per day for each book.

Based on the picture above, we know that a library is the one room of a school in which the students can go and learn there, not only that but also they can borrow some books from. A student can borrow books from the library when they have a Library Card. when someone doesn't have it, they can't borrow books. So, pay attention to the rules given from a school library before you come and borrow the books from it. A librarian will guide you on how to register to be the member of a school library and then can borrow the books.

ORANGUTAN

 ENGLISH TEXT BOOK 21-22

CHAPTER 1 

WHAT AN AMAZING WORLD

ORANGUTAN

In Southeast Asia, there are big apes called orangutans in the Malay language, or the “jungle man.” Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, they are only found on Kalimantan Island and the northern parts of Sumatra Island.

Behaviour

Orangutans mostly live in trees. They travel from tree to tree through the branches using their long limbs. They seldom roam on the ground. As they find it hard going through treetops, each day they only climb a few hundred metres. On the tops of trees, they build a nest. Older males are often found travelling and sleeping on the ground.

Physical Description

Male orangutans can reach a little below 1 m tall and weigh around 77 kg. The females are smaller, only around three-quarter of a meter tall and half the weight of the male. Both male and female orangutans have coarse, long, reddish-brown fur. Appearance-wise, the males are different. Their cheeks are puffy and they have a kind of pouch hanging from their throat, which contains air sacks. These sacks are needed to make loud groans that can be heard from a far distance.

Diet

Orangutans eat mostly fruit, young leaves, inner bark, and eggs. In the dry season, they built up fat reserves to anticipate the monsoon season, which lasts from April through October, when food is much less available.

Mating System and Baby Orangutan

Orangutans like to live alone. They travel and find food on their own and gather only for mating. Female orangutans look for adult males when they are ready to mate. Each pair will stay together until the female is pregnant, which takes a few days. Then they will separate. Like humans, orangutans experience about nine months of pregnancy. One baby is born to a female orangutan every four to eight years. Until they stop breastfeeding at about three years old, infant orangutans remain very dependent on their mothers. Over the next three to five years, they learn to be more independent and are completely independent by the age of eight. Sometimes orangutan mothers pair up for a few days, during which time their infants become playmates.

Dangers

People hunt orangutans continuously, although there is a policy against killing, owning or exporting them. Their natural habitat is fast disappearing due to illegal logging, forest cleaning for palm oil and forest burning. In the 90s, in Sumatra and Kalimantan, thousands of orangutans were killed, and the habitat of thousands more was destroyed in major forest fires. Those fires and killings were threats to the existence of orangutans.
